My poor little boy is SICK! He got it from me, and I got it from Terry, and Im sure before its all done and said with Terry will have gotten it again.
But my poor little guy is so congested and coughing and sneezing like crazy, his poor eyes are all red and sometimes watery... Im new to the MOM world and don't know all the trick to the trade so If anyone could offer advice I'll take it.. PLEASE
Oh yeah and when do I know if and When I should go to a DOC?

I don't have any advice for you on that. But you drive all the way to St. David to go see Dr. Mayberry? Wow! Anyway- good excuse to go see your fam. I hope he gets better soon.
Poor little Titan! I would use a humidifier next to him while he sleeps and rub Vicks on his chest (the knock off kind works just as well). Give him all the fluids he will take (Pedialite is a good one...again get the store brand version) the more fluids the faster he will flush the yuckies out of his system. If he is really fussy I would give him baby tylenol so that he can sleep it off. Best of luck! If he gets a fever of 101-102 and you can't break it all day then I would take him in to a doc.
Oh Heather I know exactly what you mean! We (us girls) are all exactly like that right now too! It stinks. Gracie Has been to the doctor 3 times in the last 2 weeks cause I worry too much. But I hear of babies dying of pnemonia and rsv and I freak out so I take her in when I probably shouldn't but its always good to know. Gracie was diagnosed with a Chest infection and put on an antibiotic, she had the same syptoms Titan does. but I hope you guys start feeling better, its the pitts! I dont have a voice right now because of it! By the way I was giving her Tylenol (infant tylenol) and the humidifier is a great idea and her fver was 100.
Sorry your baby is sick, Heather. That is so hard to see them not know why the heck they feel so crappy! The vicks and humidifier are definitely good ideas. BUT make sure (and we learned this from experience!) that you use a COOL mist humidifier AND that you rinse it out EVERYDAY with bleach, or else mildew & mold can grow in it and cause allergies! I really like the Vicks Vapor Plugins. It fills the whole room with it and seems to help my kids. Since Titan is so young you probably shouldn't give him any decongestants, unless you ask a doc first (by the way, good choice in doc! :) Tylenol is fine if he has a fever. (Like Zonnie said, a fever over 101 that won't go down with Tylenol means you should take him him). The congestion can last up to 2 weeks (YUCK, I know!) As your cousin...I gave Mark Baby Asadophlis in his formula (pump emough for 1 feeding and mix it in there)It is the good bacteria that will clean out all of the bad stuff in his system. You can get it at a Whole Foods or a natural foods store. Use with what Zonnie said and he will be better with in a week! You only need to go to the dr if he is HACking cough, fever over 99.5 degrees and is "not normal" with his everyday things-lathargic. Love ya! and good luck! Call me if you need anymore info
Thanks for your comments. Sorry your baby is sick. Mine too. Two of my three boys have been sick with bronchocitis and I have a sinus infection and now baby is congested! I swear I don't know anyone who is well. Sounds like you already got great advice. With RSV so prevalent around here just really pay attention to his cough. RSV can get bad quickly so better safe than sorry even if it means a trip to Benson or the emergency room. Listen for that hacking cough and a rattling when he breathes. Get him in quick if you hear those.
